How to find detailers!?

Full of the internets!
Hello,

I just moved to Sacramento, and a quick search for automotive detailers near by turned up some really dismal results, most of what I found were glorified car washes charging exorbitant prices for mundane services.

Where the heck does one go to actually find real detail services, where do the good guys and gals tend to operate and advertise?

It really surprises me, as I've seen vehicles appear in local parking lots with obvious professional details, but how people find the services is beyond me.

Not sure if we have anyone on DC in that area, but someone may know of a good detailer.

What are you looking for, one time shot or someone for regular cleaning and such

Contact smaller boutique car lots and find out if they have someone in-house or that comes to visit them. You can even call around and ask for recommendations. That or when you see one of these obvious professional details, leave a note or a business card on the car asking them, "hey, who does your detailing work, I'm impressed, have them call me" or something.
