How to dilute

Here's an easier way to figure. Assume the ratio you want is 1-7 and the container is 32 oz. Add 1+7=8 and divide that number into the container size. In this case it's 32/8=4. So 4 oz of concentrate and the remainer (28 oz) of water to equal 32 oz. Works regardless of the container size or the dilution ratio, you don't need to refer to a chart.

example #2
1-8 ratio to mix a gallon
1+8=9
128/9 = 14.22

So I would use 14 oz (I'm rounding) of concentrate + 114 oz of water = 128 oz.

I saw that chart on a post on Facebook when CG posted it. I have it saved and just printed a copy to keep in a plastic sleeve in my garage.

Heh heh, this is the sort of thing I had to teach my students...amazing they got into college without knowing such stuff.
