How to deal with dust/dirt?

I tried to search but dust/dusting just came up with a bunch of info on polish. I washed the car just two days ago and today while sitting in traffic due to construction a huge dump truck drove through and sprinkled dust on everyone. :down: How do you guys deal with something like this? Just rewash it? :nervous:

I use the California car duster when my car gets dusty.

If the dusting is light, I have no problem QDing with a plush microfiber

wouldn't using any type of cloth or anything scratch the clear coat? I would think the only safe way would be to rinse of the car, and wash it or just dry after rinsing if you don't have the time to wash it.

Yes, just wiping the dust off is asking for scratches/swirls. I would do a complete wash or live with it until time allows for a proper wash.
