Does anyone have any suggestions for cleaning Brembo black anodized brake calipers? I’ve seen one video where they suggest Chemical
Guys sticky gel plus baking soda.

Thanks for your input.

I tried an iron remover but it didn’t seem to get them to the level I want.

I used brake buster a while ago and didn’t think very highly of it. Felt it was hyped up way to much. Perhaps it works better in this particular application.

Another thing I just thought of. While the car only has 14k miles, I’ve noticed some staining or etching on the wheels from something that was used on it before my ownership. I’m wondering if an acid was used and ruined the anodizing. Really wish it had the optional red calipers.

That finish looks really dull and faded. Almost blushed. I think you should look into a high solid coating that you can spray on. It will really make cleaning way easier too.
