How much product to use...pictures?

ok just so i am ABSOLUTELY sure, how much product do i need to use for say a 2'x2' area? this is w/ my brand new PC (whooo) and my new 1Z line of UPP, PP, MP (whoooooo) and glanz wax. i dont want to waste any of this stuff, so does anyone have pics of how much product they actually throw on the pad? I keep hearing a quarter sized drop, but that just seems absurdly small to me and i cant seem to smear it around an area even close to 2x2. also, do you need to spritz the pad w/ h20 prior to using the 1Z?







also, what speeds would you recommend for those products as well? starting out.

I just put a few small globs on the pad then blotched it around the area i was doing, then spread it around on ~3, then worked it in on 5-6. This was with 1Z Paint Polish BTW. You'll get the hang of it after a few minutes :xyxthumbs
 
A little more than you think is necessary at the beginning, to "load" the pad then reduce the amount a little each time. I thinking the big X about 1/4 inch wide extending about 2/3 the way across the pad. Then smear it on the paint WITHOUT POWER. You can also add a little QD like EO Wipe N Shine, just a couple of sprtizes - this to help the polish get loaded into your pad.
