Noting that I have zero experience with the SSR line....
IMO the SSR1 is mild enough that you shouldn't try to increase its cut. Use it for very mild work.
No real appreciable diff between foam and MF in my experience. Maybe *some* but nothing truly functional or I think I'd have noticed it. Using terry *will* make for a more aggressive cut. Sometimes you'll have to follow up with foam/MF to remove micromarring but it'll depend on the terry and the paint.
I'd try terry with the SSR2 and use whichever you like (between MF/foam) with the SSR1. But again, no first-hand experience- just extrapolating from other product lines.
