How long can AIO last 24/7 outside?

I want to do some testing on AIO's durability on car that parked oustside all the time. How does it hold up? No sealant or wax. AIO as LSP.

Let us know your test results, CA should be a good testing ground (I read on another forum (don't have a link)that it durability held up for 6-8 weeks in AZ)

About what ZaneO said. I put the third a final coat on around November 1st. I think it started to die out towards the end of January for me. Slickness geatly diminished and the shine slowly diminished. I have it on my wifes mini van which sits outside 24/7. Its been a bad winter here also in NH.
 
I just reread the first post, I have SG on the Mini van, sorry. I tried just AIO on my work truck, IMO It didnt seem like 2 weeks and slickness and water beeding were totaly gone. IMO I wouldn't use AIO as a LSP. I love it as a pre-LSP step which cleans ,prepares the surface for a sealant or wax.

does that mean you had the complete Klasse AIO+SG to last only 3 mos.?:eek:

Id say its just about ready for another coat of SG. So it lasted pretty good since November 1st. Thats abouyt 4 1/2 months.

Plus since the weater has been so bad since January shes been going to the car wash.
 
I have one "panel" on the hood of my Pilot which has AIO applied alone. It's been on there for almost four weeks; the first week was very wet, it's been washed five times, no QD and its suffering badly, but not completely dead. Sheeting water after a wash is very poor, after two minutes water still covers the "panel" but there is still some beading of water when it rains.



Four weeks.. AIO's not dead but it's getting there!
