how does Pinnacle XMT compare to Menzerna

I want to remove some scratches and swirl marks from my white 01 Jetta (has hard pain)....the damage is intermidiate to somewhat heavy...I want to use Menzerna SIP and IP, but its just so dang expensive....does the Pinnacle XMT line or Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover work as good as the Menzerna stuff??



FYI: im pusing PorterCable7424 to apply...thanks for your help!
 
It dosent compare at all and you might need more then a pc to get rid of the swirls and scatches even with the menzerna products.
 
Sounds like a job for some Meguiar's M105 and some foamed purple wool by Lake Country if a PC if is the best you have. If that is too pricey, use #95. #95 should have the same cut, but it won't finish down as well as the M105.



You will likely then want to follow up with some #83, and then #80. The #95, #83, and #80 are all VERY cheap at Auto Detailing Supplies
 
well the scratches are pretty light...but it has some bad swirl marks...i was going to start out with a 4" Orange pad with SIP and if that doesnt do the trick i was going to use the yellow pad with the SIP...im almost posative that would do....but is there anything i can replace the Menzerna SIP and IP with because they are so expensive
