Lake Country Wash Wedge

Hey Ron !

Wow - what will Lake Country think of next ????

What got in them ? Car wash soap wont remove ?

Do you have any foam pad cleaner? I bet some Snappy Clean would clean them and not hurt them.. It cleans foam pads really good, and rinses all out easily.. Comes in little square packs of powder..

Bet I could Shred one of those... :) :) :)

I'd probably treat it like a polishing pad and clean it with APC when it needs it. Otherwise, just rinse it real good since I'm guessing you are mainly using car wash soap with it?

I have to admit, I never got intrigued by that wash wedge. I just stick to the MF mitts...throw in the washer with MF detergent and hang to dry. Done. :rockon

Not intrigued with it either, but in my search for the holy grail, I end up trying everything. It is good for grills, and getting real lower panels etc.

I clean mine in a wash bucket filled with soapy water. There is no need to use an all purpose cleaner or pad cleaner if all you're using it for is washing your car.

I wash mine in clean soapy water. I also wash it with dp pad rejuvenator powder in a bucket with my polishing pads.

Ron I have been using two of these for several months now. I just run them across the grit guard and then a thorough rinse and squeeze. Sometimes I have to comb through there and pick out small debris but most of that is my own fault because I washed it with my Merino Wool mit--BAD IDEA!!! haha- don't do that

They also do not touch anything below the bottom of the doors as well- that's what my mf mits are for....I pretty much only use this when washing with the PBL shampoo..
I tried it once with ONR and it worked okay.

One of mine is about to break apart from the handle,,,are you seeing this issue as well?

I'm still waiting for a Mini wash wedge- in black

I've had mine for a few months and haven't had to wash it other than giving it a good strong jet of water after I'm done.

Thanks guys

It's kinda a pain

Since its real tough to deal with a grit guard then wring then dunk in soap
