How Do I Remove Terry Fuzz?

I've treated my car to its first bath but now I've got little green bits of fuzz fused to the weathstripping of my windows. How do I remove this fuzz, placed there by me when I used a terry towel?

In the future, don't use a terry towel. Instead, use a lint-free Microfiber. David (Autopia) sells them, as do most online detail places, at great prices.

Depending on how much fuzz and how much time you want to spend, try one of the following:

- pick it off with tweezers

- use a vaccuum with a detail nozzle

- use a microfiber with some QD in the opposite direction

- just wait and it will probably wear off in the next few days or with the next wash

Heh. I like this choice the best!

Seriously, I'm the only one who'll ever notice it, but since I'm getting into the detail scene, I want nothing short of PERFECTION.

Hey, that's a great idea. Those things work really well, and wash clean with water or perhaps a detail spray.

Use microfiber instead of cotton. Then you won't have to worry about lint at all. You also will never have to clean the dryer lint screen again (if you use the dryer).
