How do I get bug marks off front bumper?

I purchased a used '04 Nissan Maxima that is the White Frost in color. The paint is very nice and fairly flaw free...execpt...the front bumper. Where bugs were on the bumper and left to sit, there are marks on the bumper the shape of bug splatters. From far away they can't be seen, but up close it doesn't look good.



How do I get these out of the paint finish without having the bumper repainted? There are a very few stone chips also, but mostly bug spots. Please help. I have both a rotary and PC to work with...and my hands. Can any product work these out??? Wetsanding??? Anything???
 
Yea, a nice heavy compound and your rotary should take care of that. Be careful on removing too much clear. If that doesnt work, then a repaint may be your only option. Id spring for the repaint over the wetsanding, thats an awfully big area to be wetsanding.
