How Crazy Does this Get?

LOL, i did the same thing because i had some dirt in the corners of a couple letters, my wife comes out and says "what are you doing", me: "getting this dirt out", her bending over for a closer look: "what dirt", it was that obvious.

How about claying the License plate area of the bumper!

Took of the License plate off, to clay bar the bumper, used a clay bar to do windows and followed up on a later date to polish them with #81 w/ PC.

well, I washed the powdercoated aluminum garage door with some old "KIT wash + wash shampoo" with a brush today. turned out nicely...but I got a few strange looks in the process.

good thing I had thw wash+wax cause the neigbors would have probably lost it if I broke out the PC and some liquid wax :)

I detailed my Toro lawn tractor......

My brother-in-laws already thought I was nuts, when they went to check out my new shed and saw the tractor, they were convinced I am nuts.... It looked mint though.....

I lay on my back for 2 whole weekends and cleaned all the nuts and bolts on the underside with an electric tooth bush . It does wonders !

Now that's dedication :up :up :bow

I've been known to do similar :o, I didn't use an electric toothbrush but I have used a regular kind with some Mothers metal polish followed with some left over sealant from the garage :D I've even restored tarnished/rusted bolts by letting them soak in can with some Kano Exrust in it, they turned out absolutely new looking and then I proceded to polish and seal :xyxthumbs

I've used car wax on my Fila Ferrari replicas. They look good.

Can you tell which one has Color X, and which one has Color X topped with NXT?

Don't forget claying the underside of your hood and trunk and insides of wheels :D :up

I have really been considering claying the inside of my wheels to get rid of the massive amounts of brake dust that has acumulated there. I thought that I would use a good wheel cleaner followed by clay then seal.

Sounds like an excellent plan :up

Speaking of license plates, I've had the backs of them corrode after Ohio winters, so now I AIO/SGx2 the backs. And even though I use self-adhesive silicone blocks to keep them raised up off the body panels, I still take them off to properly clean behind them every so often.

If you have *really* nasty build-up there, you might try using something like EFHI (undiluted) as the lube for your clay. You might even have to resort to a *soft* Scotchbrite pad- the kind made for non-stick cookware (the softest ones they make).

Pulled the engine of the deck, removed the factory stickers and Klasse'd the deck of my lawnmower.

I just thought about what I just wrote. I'm very disturbed.

:D
