How Cold Can LSP's Stand ??

Hey guys....I just AIO'd and UPP'd my mom's car....temperature is going into the 30's tonite (shouldn't rain) but I'm wondering if that's a problem. I know this might require an expert knowledge of molecular bonding since I doubt any of us could really "tell" if a car that sat overnight in that temperature had it's LSP's not take as well as one done in the summer months.

Let me know....I might be able to switch Camry's and bring mom's 11-year old one in to let the stuff cure. Or tomorrow night, when I do the 2nd UPP layer.

I have no idea, but since you have the option of getting it into a protected area, why not do it. That way, you don't find out it is a bad idea to leave it out.

Because dad's car has the garage and his car is brand-new and mom's is 11 years old!! :D

I may switch them anyway. Just kinda lazy to do it.....:D

I'm no molecular scientist :sorcerer: , but my guess is that temperature and humidity affect the drying, or hazing time, of sealants and not the molecular bonding. If that is the case, it shouldn't matter unless you get dew then frost on your finish, in which case I'm betting that its not good.

You're better off switching the cars to be on the safe side.
