Great work, what kind of products did you use?

Word of advice, especially if you run a business now, censor out the license plates of your customer's cars. You don't want to run the risk of liability.

Looking good.:bigups The real test is the customers reactions. Were they happy or blown away? The former won't cost you business, but the latter will bring you tons and allow you to command a higher price.:)

I was going to say the same. I recently had my business card logo printed on full sheet of paper and cut to cover a license plate and laminated. I simply use some tape to hold it in place for photos. Censors plate and advertises at same time. Also gives a little extra credibility as anyone can take some photos from internet and claim the work.

It takes some practice to get good before and after photos. I often load the before shots into my laptop, then use that to try to recreate the same shot (lighting, zoom, angle, etc.) I hate getting home after a big job and realizing I forgot to get a particular after shot.:wall 50/50 shots work best for showing the improvement.

That's a cool idea, I like that! Easy advertising, and it's like your own physical watermark for your portfolio.

Looks like you're off to a good start. Are you collecting customers e-mail addresses for any type of follow-ups or reminders ?

Thanks everyone!
Both customers were very happy I need to l learn how to do that kind of work, only Faster.

Here is a list of products I used
Car wash soap = CG Citrus Wash & Gloss Synthetic Citrus Based Hyper-Wash+GLOSS

Clay = Mothers California Gold Clay Bar

Glaze = CG EXTREME SHINE EZ~CREME GLAZE w/ACRYLIC SHINE II
Wax = CG Pete's 53'
For the chrome I used collinite metal polish. Awesome stuff!

Wheel Cleaner = Megs APC +

Tire Shine, outside and inside trim dressing (I used it in the wheel wells too)= CG SILK SHINE SPRAYABLE DRESSING NATURAL SHINE W/ Weather-Tek Protectant.

For the real faded black parts I used CG FADE2BLACK-INSTANT SHINE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR SPRAY DRESSING.

Interior plastic cleaning, I used a few things to try them out. Megs APC. Megs APC + and I got a free 16 oz sample of Detail Kings Pink Power!

Meguires leather conditioner on the leather.

For the Fabric I used Folex until I ran out then used Megs APC +
and Stoners glass cleaner for the windows.

Really good idea on the plates!:rockon

they were both blown away. The truck owner, im going to get him on a maintenance plan:D He even offered to let me put a "Detailed By" magnet on his tailgate.

I like the idea, but if his truck gets dirty I wouldnt want it on there after that. I dont know. Its something to think about

Looks good. Keep up the good work. I have to make a recommendation. I'm not sure what service your customers had payed for, but for an exterior Polish/Wax service you should of polished before the glaze step, especially after claying. Claying can leave behind some marrying. Clay, Polish, Glaze, Wax. You can even go from Polish to Wax if they are not paying for the treatment. Some companies on here offer a nice 1 step that includes a light polish with some filers that act as a glaze and it also leaves behind some protection. My personal favorite is either Polish with Carnauba and Polish with Sealant, available from Poorboys World.

Ill look into the polish you talked about.
I did re-wash after claying the cars.

The conditioner is treating and rehydrating the leather. Cracks in leather are irreversible. There are kits out there to repair damaged leather, but in this case it looks like the conditioner made the cracks a little less visible. The lighting in the picture is a bit different as well so that could contribute to what you're seeing.

Either way, great job all around.

I think you did a great job, My only suggestion is looking at the "before pic" and trying to dublicate the same picture/angle in your after so theres a sense of continuity and you see exactly what the difference is. Over all looks fantastic. The suggestion about the business licence plate cover...Very smart!!

I cleaned them with Megs APC first then went over them with the conditioner. The cleaning alone helped make the cracks less noticeable. The conditioner gave it some shine and made it a lot softer.
