May 7, 2005 #1 I III 97 bonneville/98 Z71 For removing stains on carpets, what water tempeature is best? Does it depend on the stain? For example, for blood I heard cold is best, but wouldn't you want hot water when cleaning oil or dirt stains?

May 7, 2005 #2 I imported_themightytimmah New member Hotter is better, IMHO. I've seen pretty serious diffirences in cleaning ability when I ran my LGCM off of hose water, as opposed to 180* water.
