Hose Stuck in Tire Preventer Thing

Anyone know what that's called? I looked for it on Autogeek, but no luck. I'm also contemplating using those plastic wheel chocks. Thay would probably work fine, ya think? I can't believe as long as I've been detailing cars, I've just become fed up with the hose getting stuck in between the tires and the ground. Well, no more!! :boot

The only thing I can think of is the chocks. I think that would work pretty well as long as it has rubber on the bottom and won't slide sideways.

I remember that thread but cannot find it in a search :(
FWIW, I believe that Griot's Garage still carries "Anti Hose Catchers".
Or you could try to make your own with cut down milk jugs??

A few years ago I saw in a car magazine where they used brake shoes at the correct position so the cords abd hoses wouldnt catch. Should work great never tried it though. RANDAL

wow, all good ideas. That must be where I saw them is in my Griot's catalog. I'm gonna try the brake shoe thing first. Thanks guys.

I read somewhere you can use an old 1/2 gallon plastic milk jug. Cut it up, but leave the bottom and one side intact...or maybe the bottom and half of one side. Slide the bottom up under the tire as far as it will go. Never tried it, but I should. I go through a lot of milk jugs.:D
