Hook and loop fix?

There seems to be a lot of people having problems with the Velcro layer coming loose from the "Pad"! It caused me to cancel an order.

I don't know how this was originally connected , but with all the industrial glues now available, can't it be glued back on?

I guess this would be a better question to ask Lake Country or one of the companies selling under there private label, but I just thought that they would respond better to a question that sells so much of there product on this website.

I've never knew it to be a big problem. I have had one come a little loose out of maybe a hundred. And that was one that was left soaking a week.

I believe 3M makes an spray adhesive for that.

If you needs pads give Patrick a call......never ever had a problem with his.

I haven't really had a problem with that myself, but TOL sells a Polisher Pad Adhesive. I think other members have also had good luck using Gorilla Glue they bought locally.

John, you are dead right on the Gorilla Glue, that stuff is awesome, I use it on a lot of stuff!

I don't know if it is the right glue for the job, but if you use it, be sure, it will not come undone!

If you recently got the pad in the last few months I would call the place where you got it from and complain.

I've left pads soaking for a 3 or 4 days and never had the velco come off.

I did have one pad loose it's backing and that one got replaced that way.

You could try some Headliner & Carpet Adhesive or General Adhesive (they usually come in a rattle can but can be found in tubes).

Make sure it will resist heat and water whatever you use.
