Hi there

Here i present a detail i was after for some time now, and last saturday i did it all the way :)
Its a Honda S2000 of 2001, the paint was swirled but no scratches or dents ( except one in the hood ).
Its a track day ( 11 of them ) car and it has 65000 kms, now it just goes out for a sunday ride or the track.

After been washed the general look was like that, this was my operations center, the owner only owns Mercedes...and one Honda ( the VW Bora is mine )

The setup was:

Wash with 1z Raindance
Clay , rims polished with 1z PP and sealed with PB WS.
Menzerna PGx2 , IP and FF
PWC and Nattys
The top treated with 1z Cabrio and cleaned with APC.
1Z Balsam for the rubber and plastics, gummi for larger rubbers.

As you can see by the this picture, i detailed it for the owner see the future look of his S2000

Car looks great! I thought the Spoon's would of had some forced induction though.

Awesome Job!! You do a great job at documenting the full detail with the before and afters. :bigups

Beautiful car. I wish I had one. Nice job getting those swirls out.

Spoon Sport is a company that continues what Honda started, they make a great car that doesn't resort to forced induction to make it amazingly fast. You can get turbo spoons, but the most fun ones are the naturally aspirated ones. I thought the stock engine could rev to 9600, I would think they would bump that up even further.

Spoon doesn't do FI. They are purely NA tuners. FI is against their philosophy. To them, it's all about balance and a well tuned engine. They do amazing stuff, especially with their EG and EK Civics.

EDIT: BTW, nice job on the detail :)

Which pads did you use?? I had a similar detail recently and was never able to get the swirls out. I was using SSR 2.5 though

Im using propel pads on this one, but also edge.
Yellow propel pad , green propel and blue edge pad.
But with Menzerna :mohawk

Racer,

Your details are always top notch! Your descriptions and photography work make all the difference to a posting. It is very evident that you spent 8 hours on the S2000, it is stunning. Thanks for sharing a beautiful car with us, you have me wanting one. :drool

Your work is always amazing. The turn around is truly spectacular. Not to mention, that car is one hell of a vehicle. Great job as always.

Please post this on our other forum so they can enjoy it too. Thanks.
