Honda pilot interior

love my interior ready bag


Nothing fancy. Just interior. Since i splurged on the markII i figured id take this job. Four hours total with a few breaks inside in the ac to avoid the hot muggy TX day.

Steamer (McCulloch)
Misc fancy brushes
Vacuum and extensions etc
Opt carpet cleaner/protectant
Megs D line interior spray
Spray and wipe, PB glass + cobra ww mf glass towel (cleaned all glass in and out)

this was a pita

They said they had never cleaned the back of the seats

Dan`s famous recommended crevice tool and a grout brush saved my arse. Held them against each other and brushed away while listening to some Sinatra.

Stains in seat didnt come out. Tried folex full strength, steaming them, vacuuming, opt carpet 1:1, 1:3
Still came back.

Needed to be extracted or maybe a little green machine or something i didn`t have thats for sure.

Four hours total spent. Made a nice dent in the markII purchase bill.

Got 3 more cars booked for basics this week...gonna try to up sale wax jobs on them so i can even out the recent purchase dents in my bank acct, lol.

Oh yeah, client liked my fb page and gave me a nice 5star review. Cool.

I have a really old one that I totally wore out like this one but had blue bristles...
And, it can be used in the shower and your house window tracks, sliding glass door tracks, etc...

I`m going to take a guess and say that it`s the red bodied, white bristled brush, shown in the first photo with the detail bag.

I have a really old one that I totally wore out like this one but had blue bristles...

this is more of an inside joke...but referencing this thread is where the discussion of the crevice tool began between Dan and myself I believe.

and the crevice tool I`m referring to is the basic crevice tool you buy to attach to the shop vac (the one that`s like 8 bucks at lowes,etc)

I am always on the lookout for other ones though, so I enjoy taking a look at Dan`s recommendations. Everyone should have a good crevice tool selection IMO.

the grout brush really saved the day on this job- pet stone wasn`t getting to the grass/etc that was stuck underneath the fibers in the back of the seats
