Use the yellow SFX pad to remove minor scratches and heavier swirls. Use it with a compound that is NOT designed for rotary buffers ONLY. Make a few passes at about speed 4 with moderate pressure, moving the PC slowly across the paint (1-2 inches per second). Check your work. Increase speed and pressure if necessary, but keep arm movement on the slow side. Take it easy on painted plastic. It will heat up faster than the metal panels. You'll get it. All it takes is practice.
