Good evening everybody including anybody in Australia!!

I've been reading this forum for the last couple of years and now I might have a question or two which (hopefully) one or several of you inspired visionaries might be kind enough to help me with please.

I'm about to take delivery of a brand new Skoda Superb. White paint and 18" wheels. That's about all I know about the car at the moment.

I'm having all that stuff sprayed all over the paint work and the interior to preserve it.

I've been looking at the Migliore Presidenziale Wax which costs about NZ$500.00 (US$399.99) for six ounces. Historically I've used Meguiars NX waxes-but that was on an old Volvo.

I think my question is rather simple-is Migliore all that much better than Meguiars? Is there anything I should be told about Migliore wax which could indicate that Meguiars is just as good?

I realise that this is a broad question-but I have every confidence that there is somebody here who already knows the answer.

Looking forward to hearing from you M'Lords, Ladies and Gentlemen.

Cheers from the South Pacific. :)

Hi Aukland!!

I wouldn't have a clue about your question but it is great to see a neighbour on the forum.
:)

Hi Auckland...welcome to Autopia Forums !!!!! I have used several of the Migliore products and they are actually pretty good. I just got a jar of the Migliore Presidenziale Wax but have not had a chance to try it out yet.

If you have any questions on products this is the place to get them answered.

I love these questions. How does one estimate that a product is better than another? The answer to that question keeps forums like this in business.

Welcome and happy hunting. :autopia:

Welcome to APF!

well im not that big on wax, but for white paint I choose something like duragloss 105 and 501, also werkstatt prime is awesome on white. as for all LSP ( last step process) it all comes down to the prep work before it.

Welcome to AutopiaForums Auckland, one question is what stuff are you talking about that's been spray on your vehicle?

On this one product, like Pat has mention ( has a jar of it ) I haven't try it yet but for the cash you spent on it hopefully it should be a great product to use on your paint.

If your looking for durability then a sealant is the way to go IMO. Everyone has their own opinion on this.

I'm not sure what it is-but the dealer has it applied before you take delivery of your vehicle. It costs NZ$595.00 for paint protection and fabric protection. Mine has a leather interior.

Good evening everybody.

Thanks heaps for your replies and interest. :yourrock

I have been given one product-the above-which states:

Contains high performance silicone compounds for cleaning, conditioning and polishing all painted surfaces.

Has anybody got any thoughts about this product please?
