Hi there, just picked up a new to me 2007 - Black 300C.

Also, just picked up a PC7336. Also picked up a starter kit with Lake Country Orange Mild Cutting Pad, White Polishing Pad and a Black Finishing pad.

This weekend I was hoping to Wash and Clay the Car, which I have done before BUT then for the first time I wanted to do some light swirl removal before waxing.

I think....if I have this right, I was planning to use Meg's Swirl Remover 2.0 which I have with the orange pad. Then I assume I apply NXT by hand and use the black pad to buff?? What is the white pad best for?

Thanks all!

From what I've read, you might want to use a milder polish with your black pad after you are finished with the orange pad and the Swirl Remover. This will further refine the finish and produce more clarity. THEN apply the NXT by hand and buff off by hand. Do a search for "jeweling" the paint and you should find plenty of info on the subject. Going straight from an orange pad and abrasive polish to the waxing step will not produce the results you want. I'm still learning myself, so keep searching and reading and you should get all the info you need. Good luck!!
