Hi Temp

Hey, I'm a new member and have a question about a product line I just discovered. Has anyone ever heard of or used a detailing product line by the name of Hi Temp? Hope I am not breaking any forum rules by asking this.

Any feedback will help.

Yes, quite a few people on here use and like them.

I am fond of their:

Tire Cleaner

Paint Perfection AIO (HT-69)

Extreme Cut

I don't have enough experience with their Terminator sealant to comment on it.

Most of their stuff is very good. I especially like their levelers. The prices used to be very cheap, but I just realized they have gone up quite a bit recently.

randome- Welcome to Autopia!

Ditto on the Hi-Temp stuff being good. I'm gradually using their levelers less and less as I find other products I like a little better, but theirs is still a good line of products.

You'll find Autopia is pretty liberal with regard to the discussion of various product lines. It's when somebody with a financial interest starts posting stuff that the mods get all :rules: And even then it's almost always something pretty blatant before they bother saying anything.

I was lucky enough to purchase several different bottles of Hi-Temp products from a forum member here last year. They have some good compounds and I've been experimenting with their Midnight Express:

HT-421 Midnight Express

A black, carnauba wax formulated

especially for dark clearcoated vehicles,

blended with polymers, ultra fine

abrasives, and gloss intensifying additives

I remembered Scottwax's magic potion "Pink Moose" and thought I'd give it a little twist. So, I've been mixing 60% of RMG with 40% Midnight Express to make Black Moose. The combo looks quite nice actually....

I've only been using Black Moose on my daily driver for about a month. The paint hasn't peeled off yet so, I guess I can relax..........:D
