Hi-Temp Abrasive Level

For those of you that tried both hi-temp and poorboys, would you say this is correct?

hi-temp medium=ssr2

hi-temp heavy=ssr2.5

hi-temp extreme=ssr3

Also how would optimum polishes compare with the above?

Thanks

I would say that it is something like this:

SSR2.5 = HT MC

SSR2 = HT LC

SSR3= HT HC

There is nothing in the PB's line that can compete with HT EC, it cuts more than SSR3, but leaves an almost ready to seal finish (assuming the right technique and pad is used).

I'll take EC over any "heavy" compound on the market, period.

As for optimum, I would say:

OP= SSR2

OC= SS2.5

OHC= SSR3, but the OHC will finish down better. I personally find SSR3 to be nothing special, seems like sand, kerosene, and a little oil mixed in a bottle....but what do I know?

Wow, thanks for the info. Would you say I should get the ht extreme leveler just in case, I think in a worst case senario the orange cutting with ht heavy should be enough to remove heavily swirling ? And between optimum and hi-temp which breakes down faster and which do you prefere?
