Hi in Fresno CA! Looking for a detailer....

Hi Folks!

I doubt I will be around long. :redface: I am just here to find a recommended detailer in Fresno.

I just replaced my 2006 Prius with a 2009 Prius. It is white with leather interior.

My 2006 was maintained by the detail manager at Red Carpet. The car was ok. But my Red Carpet guy left for Montana or something. The last time I had the 2006 Prius waxed (after he left) there were swirls of wax and spots untouched.

I have never found a detailer that even lowers the windows to clean the stip along the top that gets so dirty and ugly. None of the crooks and crannies are cared for even with the pros that I have used. And there is always residue behind the instument panel window. :wall

Can anyone here help me out and hook me up?

BTW I am too old and lazy to do it myself anymore.

Well enjoy your stay ... if you don't mind a little driving ... Beemerboy is in Northern California and will do the little things you are wanting ;)
 
Beemerboy's area code seems to indicate that he is north of San Fransico. That is 200 miles or more through some complex road changes. I might like to do that occasionally just for the drive, but I am afraid with my schedule my car would suffer. I will send him an email though. The first one is the important one and it would give me a good excuse to take the car on the road. :D
 
What leather care do you all recommend?

I did send Beemerboy an email. I am on vacation for this week and a drive north would suit me. The more I think about it the more I would rather do that than shampoo my apartment carpets. LOL :D

ON a new car the seats are coated and water based products are recommended ... :)
 
Check out the "interior care" section.
Then ck our sponsers they have their own sites with some great product.
Fair warning though, this stuff becomes addictive, when you see how great your car can look. WHo knows, you may even decide one day to try it yourself. It's fun and pretty easy when you have the right information and guidance.

I havent seen any written rule that says you have to finish the car in one day.

Thanks, Ronkh. I actually wish I could do my own car. But I know it would be overly ambitious of me. In the long run my car would suffer, and I would be eaten with guilt. I just am not able to do the details anymore. :passout: But I really appreciate your encouragement and responses.

:cool: WOW, I always thought "CALI" was tha capital of detailing. Surprised to see you have had a rough time finding someone good. Hi Sue and thanks for thinking of me but your right...I'm a long ways off of you...closer to 300 miles...Big Ron is a quality detailer...just don't let him sell you on the life time NuFinish treatment.....and that's just a joke!!
 
got the job done today for sue...wash.....clay ....polish....liquid curnauba wax....extract interior / dress with natural look water based dressing ....tires done w/ water based gel dressing ....all products P&S ... this was a brand new car it wasnt bad but i went through all the steps and it looked sharp ... this is how you should maintain a vehicle from day one ..:bigups
