Great forum!

I've been doing some reading on here and it's nice to find a great source of info on detailing. I've detailed some owner/operator friends trucks, mostly Peterbilts, and am researching on the best and fastest ways to get "show quality" results. I think it might be a profitable side business when I can get my process pefected. Last time I did a truck I spent close to 15 hours just polishing/buffing all the aluminum, stainless & chrome.

If anyone has any tips or advice I would appreciate it. Anyway, nice to be a member and looking forward to learning all I can on detailing.

Welcome to the forum. There are a lot of people here willing to share their good advice. I wish I could share some with you regarding your question, but I've never done a truck that size  and I suspect it would take me even longer. I can't imagine tackling such a daunting task. Kudos to you.
:drive:

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am hoping I can meet some people that detail the "BIG" trucks, and see what kind of products and machines they use.

Hi Justpassin,
Welcome to DC :howdy

There sure is alot of real estate to polish on those Pete's but I'm sure they look great when you get done.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of your work.
Enjoy your stay
