Need I say more? Should look good once I hit it with M205. These results are after m105 using your method. :getdownThese results are on a pc7424xp and a tangerine 5.5 inch lc hydro pad and m105. No polishing has been done. Three IPA wipedowns. :spot:buffing::buffing:

KB method works great on softer clears, but I've got to use the rotary on Audis. On the cars I've used the KB method overall have tured out really well.

And, what is KBM?

Kevin Brown Method...which is the method used in removing swrils with Meg's 105/205 using a dual action polisher. Please don't ask what's a dual action polisher. J/K

I think both tools have there place in the industry, but with results like this keep in mind there is no polising at all this is just compound! How can you argue?

as things evolve, who knows what pads/polishes/compounds will come out in the future and make the DA even more useful than it already is...

Do a search on the KBM...

....and you'll get a billion entries that say "I used the KBM", but you probably won't find out what the KBM actually is. maybe one or two posts around....something about pre-loading an orange LC pad with M105. happy searching.

Barry-

Imagine my surprise when someone e-mailed me about this thread. THANK YOU!

But really, you were already a very capable detailer before I was frequenting the boards here on Autopia.

I never post to forums for the purpose of receiving "props" or "credit".

It's a funny thing though, because your timing could not have been better if it was scripted.

I do not usually get riled up over forum posts, but recently someone kinda bent me out of shape on some other site. Perhaps unintentionally.

Whadd'ya gonna do? Regardless, you have repeatedly shown yourself to be a class-act, and I appreciate it.

Hope this doesn't blow the perception that you are a TOUGH GUY. :spot

GREAT JOB ON THE DETAIL WORK!:2thumbs:

Kevin

No thank you. I recently have been really playing around and got serious about this method and life has gotton easier!! This car is a mess and Ill be able to knock it out in 2 steps instead of 3. It doesn't get much better. Wait till you see how bad this car is. Ill send the write up link when I''m done. Its just outstanding results that are true. Thanks Bud!
