Hello

I was at the diesel garage site asking about Zaino wax? if it is worth the cash?

A fella told me about your site and said I could find out anything I want to know!

Well my new f350 will be here soon and I want it to be the best looking truck in town so I am looking for some pointers!
I have always used any wax to make my trucks shine but want this one to GLOW !!!
So what is the best wax and best way to prepair the truck before waxing?
Looking for all the info I can get all is appreciated

Thanks Steve
O buy the way the truck will be Dark Toreador Red (sp)?? if that makes a difference but also looking for stuff for the wifes BLACK car

Welcome to DC.
A good place to start gathering information would be the first four posts in the "Detailing in General" forum here

I don't happen to use it, but it certainly has a lot of fans so they must be doing something right.

Close, but you still need to make your own decisions on what you prefer.

Tough to do, but you can sure make it look good.

Actually with the proper prep, most any quality wax/sealant will make your paint glow. The prep is the key.

You will find almost as many opinions on this as there are waxes/sealants.

My process:
1. Use a good car wash, good wash mitt and good drying medium.
2. Remove swirls with a good swirl removal product.
3. Use a good paint cleaner/polish.
4. Finish with a good wax/sealant.
5. Use quality wash mitts, applicators and towels for all processes.

There is a ton of it here. Start reading and ask questions when you feel you need to.

Some people feel the color does make a difference in what product to use, but I use the same stuff on red, silver, dark blue, (almost black), and white.

Enjoy!:)
