hey everybody. name's Bill checking in from south jersey. i detailed professionally for about 5 yrs going through college. been working in the mortgage industry for the last 6 years, but now seriously considering starting a mobile wash/detailing business. i used to use a rotary and a PC only for applying wax/sealant. after searching the site for a while i ordered a PC to see how it was for polishing.
my truck's been really neglected, not detailed in over 3 years. i used SSR2.5 with an orange LC pad, then SSR1 with a white polishing pad, followed by PwC with a black finishing pad, and a few coats of Collinite. have to say i'm impressed with the results though there are some scratches i could have gotten out with a rotary, or maybe some more work on my PC technique. great site, getting a lot of great advice browsing here. here are a few photos. thanks everybody!
