whats up autopia, Im new to the whole detailing scene, and i was really interested in learning how to detail cars. I was wondering where i should start to learn how to detail? I've been looking online and i was thinking of taking some training courses but they are a bit pricey and really short classes...idk if i would have it down in such short period of time. your feedback would be very much appreciated thanks!
 
Welcome, ajrojaso2. Start by reading and absorbing all you can from here. Then you just need to get some experience; first your own car, then friends and family. If you are willing to volunteer your time just to learn and observe you could contact one of the great detailers in your area.
 
Before taking a course simply read some of the processes and products people here use to get great results. Folk list all their techniques, tools and products. That's where you start!
