Here it is! BOSS - Best of Show System!

Mike, you getting a new Rupes or Zentool? Didnt you just sell a lightly used Rupes?

LOL, I never keep a polisher very long. I just like to try new things, particularly polishers. And yes, I did just sell an original Rupes 21. I'll be in the market for a new one soon, hopefully. :)

I got the g15 pro kit since my pc da is long wore out and I wanted a new toy. I did a full correction on my F350 and loved the system. One think I did notice on the black ford paint (it was in very bad shape to start with) with the mf and fast correct to a finishing polish I still had some haze some haze so I went mf fast correct to a yellow pad with finishing to the sealant. On the other side I used a white pad with fast correct and could have easily went right to an aio to finish it off. I also got to use it on a VW passat that has never been touched or maintained correctly and I was blown away by how well I was able to finish down the correcting cream on a yellow pad and go right to poorboys ex. All in all I am really enjoying the system and love the polisher. I did manage to delaminate 2 microfibers while working on the truck, pads were not hot and only used on one panel each. I got in touch with griots and it looks like that will be taken care of which made me a happy customer.

I am so glad this system is out there, I have been using griot's products (since around 2002-2003ish) along with many other companies products but not for much more then the cleaning side with griots. I was never a big fan of the polishes, best of show wax or machines prior to these. I can't wait for my new garage to be finished so I can use my griots cabinets I have sitting in storage and put this next to them!

Thanks for the honest feedback. I've been super impressed with the entire BOSS system too. From the machines to the pads to the polish, it's all great stuff.

vudomagoo--great input. I too am very happy with my G15 and have been thinking of trying the Boss polishes on two VWs and a Altima all with hard clear.

Did you use the Fast Correcting Cream or the Correcting cream with the yellow pad on the Passat??

Just the correcting cream with a yellow pad. Since it was rarely washed he did not have many deep paint defects that a automatic car wash might normally inflict on the paint. I did pull a lot of gunk off when I clayed it first. I thought I was going to need to step up pad wise on the aggressiveness but I wanted to experiment with that starting point and was able to get 75-80% or so of the defects out and finish it down which made it a quick process for me and I was very happy with the results as was the owner of the car. I was not sure if I was going to get as good of a result like I did but it blew me away. I will say next time I might try the fast correct with a white or even orange pad and follow up with pb polish with sealant at the end.
