I had a gallon of car wash liquid burst or leak or something onto my passenger front floor of my truck. Whats the easiest way to get 1-2 qts of car wash soap out of my floor.

Ive tried wetting it down with water and shop vaccing it up as well as wetting it with water, scrubbing with a brush and sucking the water and suds out. Nothing seems to be working in a timely manner.

What can i do thats quick and efficient to get this out of my carpeting.

Thanks

Man, that sucks :(. It's just gonna take a long time to rinse all it out, if it was mine I would most likely pull the seat bolts, remove the carpet, and hose it out or even better pressure wash it until it stops sudsing then let it air dry.

Without removing the carpet, it'll take quite a while to get all the suds out. Even an extractor will only help so much, as the amount of foam that a wash soap can generate will overflow pretty much anything you can get on it.

Yeah, I think I'd want to tackle this out-of-vehicle too.

I wonder how a defoaming agent might help  I'd at least *try* it, the stuff's not all that expensive (TOL has it if there isn't a carpet extractor store in your area).
