Hey guys

I have a detail coming up that I might need help with. It's a silver '06 Mercedes E350. I have heard about Ceramiclear......what is it and should I be worried about it? Anything I need to do to prepare?

Cerami-Clear clear coats were developped to be more scratch resistant, so they are harder... As such, polishes have been developped to tackle these specific paints - the ceramiclear range of menzerna mentioned above for example, though these new polishes are equally effective on normal paint too.

I would treat this paint in the same way as any other, but be prepared for a hard paint... Dont assume though, test out light abrasives first as that may well be all that it needs... The menzerna polishes (PO85RD3.01 and PO106FF) are excellent polishes on all paints, including hard paints.

I don't as of yet. I am reading that Menzerna is about the only thing that will work on the MB CC. So I guess I will be buying some!! Thanks!!

Good point Dave! I will get some Menzerna polish just in case. It will give me a reason to buy it! LOL!! I will try what normally works for me and go to the Menz if I need it.

Thanks!!
