Help with making a steering wheel look nice :)

Ok, I just got this leather wrapped 3-spoke and want to make it look nice. I apologize if this has been addressed in other threads, but all the searches I did had issues that didn't look just like mine.

Right now 90% of the leather is in great shape, but the 10-2 positions look brown - almost like the black surface has worn off. I can't scrape the brown off with my finger and it's a bit more rough than the rest of the wheel.

The pics make it look worse than it is, but it's definitely there. Hopefully, the link works. Let me know if it does not.

When shopping for wheels, I saw a lot with this 'wear' issue and was wondering what others have done here to remedy it.

thanks

ps: I know I only have 2 posts, but when I wanted to get into detailing, you guys helped me see that maintenance is what I'm best at :grinno: I found a great detailer that does autotopian detailing...and I drive 90 miles 1-way to get my cars done...

kiva-I'd contact Roger Koh/The Leather Doctor and see what he'd recommend. He's posted info about how to refurbish steering wheel/etc. leather before and I bet he'd have some good ideas for you.

Oh, and Welcome to Autopia!
