Help! What the heck am I doing wrong???

Somebody able to tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Might not be you. There were some recurring threads on AGO a while back involving a couple of detailers having pad problems and a LC rep. Sounded like they were sending them reformulated pads to try out with mixed results.

I'd be contacting LC, it appears they're having some problems with some pads, particularly the H2O-techs.

H20 Pads

Nick, I was forwarded your post and have read what has happened. I have some of the original H20 pads and so far they have been holding up. I can totally understand your frustration though. I will stand behind my products. When you have a chance you can call me (262-367-8395) or email me at the factory here. I will get this taken care of.

Just got off the phone with Eric, he's aware of my problem and has seen the pictures. Lake Country is a stand up manufacture, and although I declined, he offered(actually insisted) that he send replacement pads to replace the ones I had problems with. No worries Eric! I'm going to make a contious effort to pay attention to my buffing techniques with these pads, and I should have more answers for you soon.

Thanks for sharing Nick!

This is rare case when i always succeed and end up with expectable result of using LC pad with various kind of products such as 3M, Menzerna or Megs. The problem should be defined with the right person. In this case, Eric might be that guy and should has this pad for inspection. Update of the problem will be very appreciated.

Nick,

Is it worth sending a pad from "your batch" to another trusted pro and see what happens?

I like the idea of eliminating as many variables as possible. What happens if you send one to Kevin Brown and he has the same issue?

Did you order all in one batch or have they come from separate orders, presumably from pads which were made at different times?

Nick, please let me know if anymore problems come up with your pads or any other problem comes up. We 're here to make sure everyone is happy with their products.................Angelo
