Like the subject says. . . the tire shop left greasy hand prints all over my VW grey headliner. After much bitching . . . they didn't charge me a thing for the alignment and balancing / rotation . . . however I am SOL on the headliner. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have had the exact thing happen! Get some Q-Tips and some aerosol Brake Parts Cleaner. Gumout brand is the best. But most non foaming brands will work fine. (AutoZone, PepBoys, KMart, etc.) Soak the Q-tip and roll it onto the stain in a twisting motion. Don't rub it in. Do a test. Keep changing tips.

I like what Brad said, as well as this:

if they're excessively large spots, try some of the TW "Power OUT" upholstery cleaner (be sure NOT to get the carpet cleaner version)..... it seems to work well and not cause trouble for the headliner.

Whoo hoo . . . thanks for the suggestions. I bought both and the TW Power Out worked better on large surfaces whereas the brake cleaner was better for spot cleaning. Thanks again.
