Help Selling Car

Young Stallion, this doesn't give us much to go on, if we're to offer any tips.



What car? What year? How have you tried selling/marketing it so far?
 
Sorry. It is a 2001 Mustang GT - 400HP Show Car.



All details can be found here. I have tried posting on every board I am a member of, will be putting it on the cover of my local Auto Trader next monday. If I have to put on ebay I will, I just do not want to.
 
online forums don't seem like a place for selling a car, they just don't have the traffic. When I come to any forum, I look at the discussions not hte sale items, especailly not the sale items for a car since I already have one of the same type. My few 30 pesos.



The other thing, people might see the phrase "show car" and just pass. Most people buy for utility so they may feel the price is higher then what they would pay for a similar non-show car. I'm not sure what the going price is for a modified car, but usually the figure I've heard is normal blue book + 50-80% of modifications price.



the other down point is timing. As you approach fall and winter, prices for convertables and sports cars tend to fall because people won't be cruising around any more. In spring, sales of the "fun" cars picks up.



Sorry for all the bad points, but maybe the traditional Auto trader/news paper ad is a going choice. Also, auto trader has an online version you can use - http://www.autotrader.com/
