HELP scrtached window tint

Hello I have factory tint on my truck windows (crew cab)well my Jack Russel went ballastic and scratched the tint on one of my windows.Is there any repair for this? Thanks:(
 
Did your car come from the factory with a tint film... or do you have the privacy glass (glass that has a tint in it)???



I think cars only come with privacy glass from the factory (please correct me if i am wrong). If this is so then your dog may have scratched the glass??:nixweiss



otherwise if it is the tint film then you can just replace the film on that window...
 
my guess it's all glass. Try some glass polish (i.e. Autoglym, Zaino). If you can feel the scratch it might not be possible, though.

if it's film, try plexus. Spray and wipe with a MF. Don't use too much pressure or it'll mess up the film even more.
 
on my 93 maxima everything other than my winshield all my car windows came from the factory with tint. The winshield is privacy glass.



Check the corners of the window, if you can see the edge of the darker portion then you have tint.
 
Thanks for all the replys but yes I can feel the scratch and its not a film,its what they call privacy tint (from the factory)Ok well I guess I will have to live with it.Again thanks for the replys...:bounce
