here's a nifty little tip the next time your are claying your car! Grab a large trashback, unfold it and set it near where you are claying. That way if you drop your clay it lands in the safe clean plastic 'mat' you've created. If its windy just use some masking tape you should have with you, or some products like paste wax containers



I usually have a trash bag around so i can kneel down/sit on the ground to work on mufflers/trim w/o worrying about having a soggy butt ^_^



And if you have any trash at the end of the day (masking tape, paper towels, product containers) you can throw it away too.
 
Hey, that's a pretty good idea! I've had a few close encounters at dropping the clay. I freak out and start wildly grabbing at the clay while it's falling towards the ground, and then I catch it :) But you garbage bag thing will definitely work better.
