Help needed and I need to cry

Corrected

You are a true gentleman and I thank you. You took a day of your time with your family to help me. Moved a whole bunch of stuff around in your business. Besides doing a TON of work. My shoulders are still sore, so I can imagine what yours feel like.

So THANK YOU :yourrock

You are welcome and I'm just tired :passout:

I know for a fact that Steve would give you the shirt off of his back. ;) Great sponsor, great products, great guy.

WOW, that sucks that the stain got on the finish!

I've used a more agressive clay to remove paint overspray to get most of the paint off on other cars, then Prepsol or the adhesive remover if latex based.

The worst is road stripe paint that is the hot plastic type as opposed to latex based parking lot type paints. Some still use oil based paint (Set-Fast) which is a real pain as well, but the thermal plastic is almost impossible to remove. I've had to resort to heating the finish and removing it that way with a very thin tool to lift it off, then polish the areas effected.

Most good sealants will protect the finish from difficulty in removal of product such as what you had. You may want to keep up the application of the sealant to add a bit more protection and to aid in any further issues in the future.

They did the same damn thing at our condo one day. I advised everyone to move there vehicles well far away, but some did not and got nailed. Needless to say, I correct this problem on many of the cars. The bill our association received from me was not entertained too well, but as always, I based it on labor rate guides in the industry.

No one likes getting paint on a finish and to have it not come off as easy as one would think just makes you're life a living hell.

I'm glad Steve gave you assistance in this matter and I agree with the others that Steve will always step up and offer assistance when needed!!:bigups

Gladall is well now!!!
