Hi everyone. My car got egged 2-3 months back, and being as stupid as I am, I neglected it. Now, when I am getting ready to fully detail my car, I cant seem to remove these "permanent" marks or stains from my hood. I tried Meguiar's Sratch X, bug and tar remover, but these stains just wont go away. Is there anything I can do because I dont want my hood repainted, and I guess worst comes to worst, I could use some touch up paint to cover up these marks if this is a good idea?????

THanks

If you have a kind of warping of the paint the bad news is that it may be there for good. I know as it happened to me last year.

Maybe some of the pros here can give you advise on the use of a PC and some aggressive polishes.

It's too late. The stains are permanent.

Eggs have high acidity, which will etch the paint.
