Help me set up my ultra detail combo

Hey guys, I'm fixing to do another super detail on my car. Probably going to take 2-3 days of work. Heres is my previous attempt using AIO/SG/NB x2: http://autopia.org/forum/click-brag/84121-your-opinions-bmw-328-gray-no-56k.html . My car is still new, in good shape, with no visible marring.

Anyways, this time around I'm armed with Zaino and a PC! Here is a complete listing of the products I have at my disposal:

Megs and CG clay

KAIO

SG

ZPC

Z5pro

ZFX

NB

Z8

CS

I'd like to make sure I have 6 layers of Z5 and 2 layers of CS. So heres what I'm thinking:

1. Wash

2. Megs Clay

3. ZPC via PC w/white pads @ speed 5

4. KAIO Applied by hand w/terry cloth applicator

5. 3x Z5pro (w/zfx)

Next Day:

1. Wash & Dry

2. 3x Z5pro (w/zfx)

--Wait 2 hours for Z5 to dry--

3. CS

Next Day:

1. Wash & Dry

2. CS

3. Z8

How does that sound? Can I add the last layer of CS and z8 on the 2nd day instead of waiting for another day?

You say that the car has no visible marring, so no need for the ZPC IMO. Save the abrasives for when the car actually needs it. If it were *me*, I would just do AIO and one or two layers of Z5PRO and top with CS. All those extra layers just seems like a waste of time and product, IMO.

I'd spend a lot more time on your polishing steps, and much less so on layering 6 coats of Z5 Pro, CS, Z8 etc... That's wayyyyyy overkill. Prepping your surface by removing swirls/defects is key to achieving an excellent looking finish.

After you polish your car properly:

1 coat of Z5(zfx'd)

Z6 wipe down

1 coat of Z2Pro

Z6 wipe down

CS.

When CS dries, finish off the job with a Z8 QD and you should have 'eye popping' results.

Drop AIO from your listed process. If you're topping with Zaino products, ZP-C will give you a better bonding surface.

Hope this helps :bigups

why use so much product all at once?

2 coats is more than enough

Well, going over board is half the fun. You wouldn't be curious to see how your car looks after something of this nature?
