Help me pick a WOWA set

Hi I want to protect the paint of my new car but I also want it to be fast and easy. I was reading and found this products to be what I'm looking for.

Is one really much better than the other as far as shine/durability/water beading?

I will wash the car with - duragloss car wash or optimum car wash.

use a clay bar then apply the sealant.

this are the 3 choices

1.Opti-seal follow by optimum car wax - and after every wash use Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer

2.Blackfire Crystal Seal - and after the wash use blackfire Wet Diamond Polymer Spray or is the blackfire Midnight Sun Instant Detailer

3.Ultima Paint Guard Plus - after washes Ultima Detail Spray Plus

Thanks!

The only one I have used is ultima and their system is excellent.

Very easy to use and you need to fight the urge to over apply. Two sprays to prime the applicator and then 1 spray per panel. You will be very happy. You can complete a full size car in 15-20 min.

I have and use all 3 that you have listed (Old Opti-Seal) as well as the new WolfGang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal. IMO they are all very similar. You really can't go wrong with any of them. I have found the BFCS & WDLS to ever so slightly easier to use but it is really just splitting hairs at this point. I would suggest looking at the cost of your overall protection package and choosing based on that.

I'd go with #1, but you won't need to do both layers of Optiseal and OCW. You can stagger it or do one or the other. I've used UPGP but I didn't like the oily look it gave (rainbow like looks at certain angles) and flat look at other angles. However if you catch it at about a 45 degree angle, UPGP looks amazing.

what would you say is the average life span of just the opti-seal no booster after a wash.

then would you only use the Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer after every wash and no car wax spray

thanks

I agree with Dan.

I will add this: All of these WOWA sealants are so easy to use, that in place of a QD once a month or so I would use the sealant after a wash. It will make your protection last indefinitely as you will always be topping it up before it degrades to far.

I would just go with the Blackfire Crystal Seal and call it a day. It's so easy to use you can apply it after every wash if you wanted to. 10 min tops!

What durability are you getting?

Don't know...sold the car I was using it on. :)

Supposed to be 3-4 months, but if it only takes less than 10 minutes to apply who cares how long it lasts. ;)

I have the new Opti-Seal, started using it when it came out. Even wetter than before and a lot more slickness. Flashes off more quickly as well.

OK I will get the blackfire combo to try out and see how it goes. only because the booster is also polymer no wax.

crystal seal and twice a month or after every wash the wet diamond polymer spray.

now to shop for a soap

optimum car wash or duragloss 901 which would be easier on the LSP.

I might get a no rinse also just in case hmm... decision decision.

but i do see that opti seal is a favorite.
