Hey guys, I am in desperate need for an anti-kink spring that would go in one end of my hose so it doesn not kink up when attached to my hose reel.
The one I have now is made for either a 3/4" or 5/8" hose for my rapid reel - located here: http://www.rapidreel.com/garden/0305_cd_model.aspx
HOWEVER, I bought an awesome 5/8" Craftsman industrial hose marked down from $45 to $11. This sucker rocks. BUT, the anti-kink spring that comes with Rapid Reel does not fit
I called Rapid Reel and they said for some reason it won't fit with Craftsman hoses. So I said doesn't it make sense for you to make a $2 part that would fit the hose of probably the nation's largest retailer of garden supplies and hoses? They indicated other customers have the same problem.
How can you make have a part that excludes the ability to fit a Craftsman hose? Those who buy Rapid Reels also buy industrial hoses to go with it. We're the type that do not skimp on our tools. :angry
I ruined mine by taking pliers to try to stretch it out to make it thinner. No such luck.
Any way, the part is the one in the second image - that spring.

Where the heck can I get one that I can test to see if it'll fit??
Thanks! Rant over!
