Help me decide on a name...

I like Reflections, or a little spin and do Reflektions. I've got a guy that's gonna make me some business cards and need to come up w/ a name.

What do you guys think? Got any other ideas?

I really was going to suggest New Shine Detailing as I was sitting here trying to come up with a name for you, except that it is my company name. :( Sorry)

Reflektions sounds ok

Congrats Scott!

(I think your prices are to low) ;)

Mike

That's because he has to make up some $$$$ in volume to pay for his new tool box ;)

Seriously, that's a good name and your site seems to be coming along nicely.

"doh" (in homer simpsons voice)

I bought www.reflections-detailing.net :rofl (i've gotta lay off the weed)

I got all thrown off when you guys started talking about prices and my site being together haha

This may screw me as this guy is local! But oh well, I turn away more business then I can accept, maybe it'll keep him busy :D

Pro detailers, please keep your discussions in the forum created for this purpose.

Sorry David, I wasn't sure where this belonged. I guess I have to consider myself a Pro now. That's got a nice ring to it :)

If you want business cards printed off or designed I know of a very good print shop that can get you 5000 business cards for around $150. They are full color, double sided, full gloss business cards. I use them to advertise and put them on people's cars in parking lots, you can distribute a lot of them in a short period of time and the cards are only about 3 cents each.

The name of the place is A A A Printing and Design and they are located near me. They have an 800 number but I don't have it on me, if your interested then PM me.

I also used andreoni.com to do my design work and was very happy. He charges about $200 for a design but it was well worth it in my opinion. My card is about on par with his examples on his site.

After your car has been treated, all you will have to do for the next 2 years is wax it. You will never have to pay for a polish during that time period.

Your comments on the website are somewhat 'sensational'.

Sounds a little like the guys with the "magic, yearlong wax'.

If that's what you're shooting for, fine. But I don't think it is.

I find that my clients want their car cleaned very well. Maybe they point out a few areas of concern, but, mostly, they just want a clean car. The soccermom wants the interior spotlessand odor neutral, the sportscar owner wants a fantastic finish and a clean engine bay... they are all different.

I've had my websitewebsite up for about 4 months now... I've had no indication of ANY leads/business from that source.

A 'truckmounted' extractor suggests (to me) an investment of over $45,000. I'm guessing that is not what you offer for the $130 'complete' detail.

I agree with Mike Phillips. You pricing is too low. Focus on quality, it breeds wonderful word-of-mouth, and that is a wonderful thing!
