Help me decide between these wheel brushes

Im looking for a wheel brush for reaching the inside barrel of the wheel and behind the spokes. (I use a black wheel Schmitt on the face of the wheel)

I have been using this Meguiars spoke brush, but it recently broke. It was also too chunky to fit inbetween the wheel and brake calipers, so I dont really want to buy another one.

This is the type of brush I want, but unfortunately these are discontinued. If anybody can recommend a similar brush that would be great:rockon

Since I cant find a similar brush to the one(s) above, I am trying to decide between the following 2, so if anyone has used them I would love some feedback:
This is the brush im most sold on, and will probably end up ordering, but judging from the picture, the bristles almost look too soft:

I also like the looks of this one, but am afraid it is even bigger/chunkier than the Meguiars brush I have been using, and wont fit in between the calipers, etc.

I'll add one more to the confusion :D
Lambs Wool Spoke Brush

This tapered ultra soft tool is completely covered with 100% lambs wool and is small enough to squeeze between spokes, slots and around bolts.

When I had my bimmer, I sealed the wheels with sealant and cleaning the blackened wheels  was easy even with just washmitt (sheepskin of course):D

ps:I've never use the lambswool brush, but I want one :lol2:

It might be a sin amongst the BMW faithful, but you might want to stop by your local Audi dealership and pick up one of their wheel brushes. It's only $4 and change, and it's well worth it. I've been using them for 3 years now and have purchased them for a lot of friends as well. It's long and skinny and will allow you to clean the inside of the wheels with ease.

I have that same Meg's brush. I was happy with it and became pretty worn out I decided to plunk down the bucks for the EZ Brush. I debated a long time over paying so much for the EZ Brush. I have to say that the EZ Brush is far superior to the Meg's brush. It is well worth the money. It out performs the meg's by a huge margin.

That being said, I'm intrigued by the Audi brush for less than 5 bucks! I'll have to swing by an Audi dealer and pick one up. For that price its worth a try.

The Chee....i found the lambswool brush at TOTL. I will look into it, thanks.

AudiBoy...thank you for that link. For $5, how can I pass that up?

Reddwarf...Would you say that the EZ brush will fit into tighter/smaller areas than the Megs?

I'm not saying that it is the best brush out there, but for the price, size, and durability, it fits my needs perfectly. I don't have much room in between the big brake kit and the wheels, so the long, skinny brush works very well for me.

This is the same brush that I am using, I get mine from a local supplier and they have them in 3 sizes...I have them all...fairly cheap as I recall and last about 3 months with regular use.

Another place to look is Janitorial suppliers they have a lot of brushes for various uses...one that I use allot to get at the back of the rims on spoke styled rims is a wood handle toilet brush...real long handle

I also have the Meguiar's brush, but only used it a few times, as I really didn't like it that much. I may have to try that EZ Brush.

FWIW, as far as I am concerned, the best brush for cleaning most of the wheel (not the nooks and crannies) is a good Boar's Hair brush. I had one that lasted about 25 years. The new one I have will probably be around when I'm gone. :D

I have your exact same wheels. I have an old MF wash mitt that I use with a thick paint stir stick for getting the inside of my wheels every weekend. Works great and my wheels still look brand new. Don't forget the backside of the spokes! When that MF mitt gives up the ghost I have another waiting in the wings for this duty. Lowes or Home Depot will give you a paint stick.

I'm not cheap, just frugal!
