Have you priced the two to compare? Makita is a solid company but it would appear to me its also priced much higher than the Porter Cable, some companies want $249.00 just for the machine itself. So therefore Porter Cable would be my choice
PC is a very popular choice and cost efficient compared to Makita like Cleaning Fool has mentioned. From what I've seen on several vendors it seems that PC is more popular to the public.
The price does not matter. Which one do you recomend. I mean which is better. Can I use the same methods with the Makita as people use with the PC. The reason I am asking is cus I live in Iclenad and the PC is not awailable in europe.
Yes you can use the Makita BO 6040 the same way you use the PC. The Makita uses random orbit (oscillation), same as the PC. Which one is better? They both function the same way. Makita makes some of the best, durable tools you can buy, so if thats your only option in Iceland go for it
