Hi I'm a new player, so I hope I posted this in the correct
spot. I have been reading and searching for the last couple weeks and taking
notes on Ideas about doing a 4 step detail on my Pearl White i30. The paint
is very nice so this is what I have in mine. Using pc7336sp

wash
clay magic
paint cleanser?
carnuba topper ( pinnacle signature)?
and a QD that will " pop" the white

looking for easy products for newbie. I bought a p21s kit and have some OCW coming too. I got a black Harley that I will need to keep that detailed too.
So looking for products that will work on black as well as white if possible.

thanks for your time

You picked the right time to ask this question, I spent my first day off working on my grandfathers '05 STS in White Diamond he got around Thanksgiving, it is absolutely beautiful. I only wish that it was x-mas already so I could post some pics for ya but anyway . . .
Wash with 4*
Clay with Wolfgang
Polished with VM with PC
Pinnicle Signature by hand (2x) about 3 hours apart; let 2nd coat cure for ~30 mins
Used Wolfgang on tires
Pinnicle on the leather
The signature looked more than amazing, I highly recommed using this on the BMW, you'll love it. I was actually discerned about the amount of "crap" the clay picked up, seemed like too much for only being 4 weeks old and the car had 40 miles on it when purchased. As for a QD Crystal Mist will restore the "pop" between waxes.

Pinnacle Signature is my favorite carnauba for metallic & light colored paint. It should really bring out the flakes well.

Pinnacle Crystal Mist is a wonderful, although expensive, QD with carnauba that really works well with Signature and Souveran. My Lunar Mist Metallic Solara really popped with the Signature - Crystal Mist combo. I used AIO as the base and applied the coats a week apart; VM would also be a nice base for Signature.

I have a friend with the artic frost pearl white Solara and Signature topping Sonus Paintwork Cleanser really helped his car sparkle.

If you want to look at a polymer product Poorboy's EX-P would look great & bring out a lot of flake. It also looks great on black.

Remember that the prep work will mean more to the final look than the LSP.
