Some Jamoke "brushed" my front bumper, left front, right on the radius where it curves around tight to the fender. It is whitish, probably white surface that caused the blemish. NO paind deposit discerable by touch. I tried one of those cotton type treated things that come in a can for polishing, etc., ain't touching it. What's you'se recommendations, please? What's available thats slightly more aggressive, please? TIA.

I wasn't sure of what you meant by cotton treated type things that come in cans. Are you talking about wipes, like clorox wipes that type of deal?

I would try a polish first, not sure what you have around the house.

A little 00 steel wool will take that right off. It never fails me.
I've used 0000 steel wool and a chrome cleaner with good results, 00 sounds a little coarse. If it works for you, great.

Sounds like he tried Nevr-Dull Metal Polish. A good product, but it may be a little too mild in this case.

Yes, it is.
You can find it here.

It doesn't look like steel wool to me, but looks are in the eye of the beholder. :D

You have to jump to #0000 in order to avoid scratching chrome. I'm sure some chrome plating is better (harder) than others but to be safe use the #0000. If it's a painted bumper don't use any steel wool.
