Hello all I am new to this site. I found it while i was searching for price qoutes on a new paint job for my car, I have a 1998 dodge durango with several areas where the paint was chipped by rocks and careless door opening. I live in Alaska so its bound to get dinged up ;). Anyways, can anyone here tell me about how much it may cost to have my Dodge repainted?

I tried to use that touch up paint in the little tube I bought from my local dodge dealership, but when I use it, it isnt flush with the original surface and looks pretty obvious, it actually looks better without the touch up paint. Just plain ole nicks....

Thanx in advanced for any input

I am sure its going to be difficult for anyone to give you an estimate on painting your car unless they physically look at it to see what is going to be involved in getting the finish ready for paint.

Be sure to hang around here once you get it done. This forum is an awesome place to learn how to keep your new paint job looking fantastic.

My local Body shop uses the rule of thumb of $400 per panel... done the right way, and actually baked...

So many variables, tho...
